Land Registry, Geodesy and Surveying
Multi-day static GNSS observations are carried out at the MGGA points every two years. Surface movements are determined through ultra-high-precision processing of the measurement results.
What does it contain?
Established in 1990 for monitoring surface movements, the Hungarian GPS Geodynamic Control Network (MGGA) is surveyed every two years using multi-day static GNSS observations. The MGGA measurement data are processed by the GNSS Analysis Centre using a unified, ultra-high-precision scientific strategy and models. The processed data, complemented by GNSSnet.hu results, are jointly incorporated into the evaluation procedure, in which surface movement and deformation parameters are determined. These results are analysed together with other geophysical data.
