Preparation of expert opinion based on remote sensing

Use cases
Land Registry, Geodesy and Surveying

Conducting analyses that address technical and other issues based on information derived from LTK’s geographic information systems, remote sensing, or estate registry databases.

Problem description

There are numerous practical problems that can be solved—even retrospectively—with the help of the LTK’s spatial databases. In response to requests from citizens, government agencies, or courts, or for internal or external decision-making purposes, expert studies can be compiled that provide answers to questions—whether historical or otherwise—that can be clearly determined from remote sensing and aerial photography archives, including through time-series analyses.

Solution workflow

Our colleagues evaluate the analyzed spatial data and simulations from an engineering perspective. They document the objective metrics and visualizations obtained in a (technical) expert opinion intended to support decision-making.

Output

Technical report, expert opinion. Typically a multi-page document that explains the subject of the request and is illustrated with images, data, and diagrams.
