The digital aerial photographs archive enables users to browse and download digitized aerial photographs acquired using analogue technology between 1959 and 2008.

What is it used for?

It provides access to digitized versions of more than half a million aerial photograph negatives acquired for civilian purposes between 1959 and 2008 and held in the Knowledge Centre's Aerial Film Archive. The images can be viewed online and compared with the current state of the area. Users can add comments to the images or specific areas within them, and edit the spatial positioning of the images to improve their georeferencing accuracy. The website also allows users to download the images in full resolution for offline use, printing, or inclusion in publications.
