Transportation database
The transport network database, digitized from orthophotos, contains the spatial elements of roads, railways, and other transport facilities as linear, areal, and point objects, classified into detailed categories.
What does it contain?
The database contains the following linear road categories: motorway, expressway, primary roads, secondary roads, rest areas of expressways, local roads, service roads, road sections closed to public traffic, roundabouts, streets not accessible by vehicles, cycle paths, parking areas, pedestrian streets, pedestrian paths in parks, forest hiking trails, running tracks, horse riding tracks, car and motorcycle racing tracks, combined cycle/pedestrian paths, cycle lanes, and pedestrian paths/trails. The database contains the following linear railway infrastructure elements: public railway, track network (station area), suburban railway (HÉV), tram lines, tram track networks, industrial sidings, rack railway lines, narrow-gauge railway lines, underground railway lines, and metro lines. The database includes airport runways and taxiways as surface-type objects, and railway stations as point-type objects.
