LiDAR-based normalized digital surface model

Remote sensing
A relative Digital Surface Model (DSM) of the terrain and all land cover features, derived from LiDAR measurement data.
What does it contain?
Elevation model derived from LiDAR measurement data, which describes the relative heights—compared to the terrain—of the bounding surface of any land cover, including permanent and temporary, natural and man-made features present at the exact time of the aerial survey. Its primary data format is a point cloud, which may also contain additional attributes (such as intensity, etc.). It can also be stored in raster format as straightforward relative height values.
